Luxury Vietnam Honeymoon Ideas
Vietnam may be slender, but it offers a wide variety of experiences for couples. Active couples can enjoy treks, cycling, and water sports, while those looking to relax after wedding planning can indulge in romantic beach time.
Here are some of the best activities for your honeymoon in Vietnam.
Exploring Saigon on a Vespa Tour
During my trip to Saigon, I was excited to experience the city with a Vespa tour. The Mekong River flows through many countries, including Vietnam, and I found that in December, the weather is nice for exploring.
We started with a guided tour of famous sites in the city, including the Museum of Vietnamese History and the Reunification Palace. Then, we traveled to Phong Nha, where we visited La Vang Holy Land.
One evening, our group took a fun Vespa tour, and our guide, Dieuw, was enthusiastic and friendly. We visited local restaurants and sampled adventurous dishes like snails and frog legs, all while enjoying good company.
The highlight was a visit to the “Secret Cafe,” where we enjoyed Vietnamese coffee and listened to beautiful folk music in a cozy setting. We also experienced Saigon’s nightlife with a lively local band in a basement club.
This tour was a fantastic way to see Saigon and connect with local culture. It’s suitable for young travelers, but families can choose tailored options for a more relaxed experience. Overall, it was one of the best tours I’ve done in Asia, and I highly recommend it!
Vietage Scenic Train / Da Nang
A fantastic way to explore more of Vietnam in a short time is by taking the Vietage Train from Da Nang to Quy Nhon. Anantara, the hotel group, has renovated a 12-seater carriage into a luxurious space, featuring an area for massages.
During the 6-hour journey, each passenger will enjoy a 20-minute head and shoulder massage. There’s also a bar in the carriage where you can relax with a drink and connect with other travelers while enjoying the beautiful views. To top it off, a delicious three-course meal will be served at your seat.
