Day 1
Depart from Hanoi and travel to the seaside port of Halong Bay. Transfer to Tuan Chau island to board the L’Azalee Deluxe, a beautifully restored traditional wooden junk with a sleek modern design. Settle in to your stylish cabin, or on the sundeck, and enjoy the view from the water.
Stop by the Lom Bo Canal area, and visit a floating pearl farm to learn how these precious ‘stones’ are created and harvested. Then, drop anchor at Kiem Lam where you can swim around the limestone karsts or simply lounge on deck taking in the scene.
Head on to your mooring for the evening and take part in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration from the on board chefs! Enjoy dinner on the deck and wrap up your day with a cocktail or try your hand at squid fishing under the night’s sky.
-
Day 2
Start your second day on the Bay with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck before choosing from one of two routes through the bay.
The first route will take you to Three Peaches Island, where you can discover isolated beaches for swimming, kayaking or relaxing. From there, continue to Luon Cave and either kayak yourself or have a local paddle you inside on a sampan boat to enjoy the splendour of this watery cavern. You can also choose to stop at Ti Tov Island, which offers more swimming and kayaking as well as stunning panoramic views from the top of the island.
The second route option for the second day begins at Cua Van Fishing Village, a fascinating example of Halong’s local culture. The people who live here make their living fishing in the bay, and families have lived here for generations since the village’s creation hundreds of years ago. Then, explore either Luon Cave or Ti Tov Island and return to the boat afterwards for your second night in the Bay.

Day 3
Begin the third and final day with another Tai Chi session and a stunning sunrise over Bai Tu Long Bay. Your last excursion before finishing the cruise is to Sung Sot Cave. Otherwise, aptly, known as Surprise Cave, this is another highlight of Halong and is reached via a small opening in the rock.
Say goodbye to the crew at the main harbour and transfer about 4 hours back to Hanoi, arriving late in the afternoon.

2 May 2024 ★★★★★What a great way to see more of Vietnam! Our tour guide Linh looked after us well and knew a lot about Vietnam. The bike ride was tough for us beginners but we managed to finish it. The team was always patient and made sure we were safe. Big thanks to Linh and the team for going the extra mile! If you get to go with this team ask them for food recommendations!

5 May 2024 ★★★★★We spent 12 days with Amazing Bike Tours from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh via Battambang. Our tour was perfectly tailored to our route and physical condition and on the last day, we were safely transported to our beach accommodation in Sihanoukville. The organization was flawless from start to finish. The accommodation was also comfortable, allowing us to rest well after eventful days. The tour provided great value for money. The experiences were unique and could fill two vacation reports! The bikes were perfectly adjusted to our needs, with well-maintained gears and brakes. If there was a minor issue, the guide promptly addressed it. The minivan support was modern and very comfortable. The driver was excellent and we felt safe! Besides the visual impressions, we learned a lot about the country and its people.
