Con Dao is a group of beautiful islands in Vietnam. The islands are mostly part of a marine and national park.
For the past ten years, the World Wildlife Foundation has been in the area, working to protect sea turtles and other sea animals. The biggest island is Con Son, known for its history of being a prison for people who opposed the French and later during the American War.
Even though it had a rough past, Con Son is now peaceful with nice beaches. You can fly there from Ho Chi Minh City in just 45 minutes.
