    Accommodation: La Residence

  • Day 4

Today, start your day by taking your bike for a relaxed morning ride around Hué. Cruise by the Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, Mausoleums, and the pretty houses by the Perfume River. Explore quiet lanes with gardens.
If you feel like riding more, take a short countryside loop to discover the ‘purple city’ and explore the countryside at your own pace. After a quick ride from Hué, check out the historic Thanh Toan Bridge. It’s one of the few bridges left in Vietnam with a unique style. Then, cycle to Dam Chuon Lagoon, part of Tam Giang Lagoon, known for its stunning views.
Keep riding to Thuan An beach for relaxation. On the way, enjoy seeing houses, temples, pagodas, rice fields, and beautiful gardens. Take a swim at the beach, then get back on your bike to head to Con Te Islet.
Loop back to Hué and make a stop at Sinh Village, known for its artists and traditional woodblock paintings.

    Meals: B,L,D
    Cycling Distance: 20-50km

  • Day 5

After a good breakfast, we’ll take a short ride from Hue to the coast. Start biking on a pretty, less-traveled road along a narrow peninsula. Cross the Perfume River estuary and get ready for a bit of a challenge cycling up the Phuoc Tuong Pass. Then, we’ll take a quick ride to Lang Co and enjoy lunch by the beautiful lagoon.

Continue biking along Lang Co Bay, enjoying fantastic views of paths, fishing boats, waterfalls, mountains, and forests. Ride over gentle hills to reach the top of Hai Van Pass, where you can see a splendid bay. This rugged pass marks the end of the Truong Son Range, reaching all the way to the sea. Today, we’ll ride to My Son, a group of ancient Hindu temples built by the Champa kings between the 4th and 14th centuries AD. It’s considered one of the top Hindu temple complexes in Southeast Asia and the most important site of its kind in Vietnam. The first part of the ride goes through peaceful areas, but be careful during the last stretch as there might be some traffic.

    Cycling Distance: 40km / 24mi
    Accommodation: MGalery or Anantara

  • Day 7

    Option 1:
Go to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. When you get to Saigon, settle into your hotel. Our guide will meet you for a walking tour to check out places like Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Opera House, Continental Hotel, The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, and The War Remnants Museum. This walk is a nice way to learn about the city’s history and feel the mix of busyness and calm in today’s Saigon.

    Option 2:
Or, if you prefer, we can ride bikes to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels—a big network of tunnels underground. Take a 90-minute ride to Tan Phu Trung village. After a short bike ride through rural trails, hop on a ferry to an island. Bike past villages, rubber plantations, and fields. Another ferry brings us closer to Cu Chi Tunnels. Our guide will show us around and share stories. Try the famous Cassava with green tea and peanut dip, the food soldiers ate in the tunnels. After lunch by the Saigon River, take a ride back to the city.

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: Hyatt Saigon or Hôtel des Arts Saigon

  • Day 8

At 8:00, we’ll meet you at your hotel and then take a 2-hour transfer to Cai Lay. We’ll start our ride on beautiful back roads, passing through amazing fruit orchards, especially those with Durian. Along the way, we’ll stop to taste some fresh Durian, a specialty of the region. You’ll be greeted by locals with big smiles, especially since they might not have seen a Westerner, especially one in funny cycling gear.

The ride will have different parts, starting with Ngu Hiep island, famous for Durian. It’s an unspoiled area with many small houses and very friendly locals. Then we’ll head to Tan Phong island, known for Rambutan. This area is beautiful with lots of orchards and concrete paths.

We’ll finish the morning ride at Mr. 6 Ca’s garden for lunch. It’s a lovely orchard where Mr. 6 Ca will serve you his homemade wine, elephant fish, spring rolls, and various fruits.

Highlights of the ride include small water crossings, fruit orchards, local industries like coconut candy making and pop-rice, and the chance for a homestay experience.

  • Day 9

Start your day with a tasty Vietnamese coffee and breakfast, giving you a real taste of Vietnam. Today’s bike ride will be by the rivers, where you can see locals fishing, picking fruits, and Vietnamese students in their traditional Ao Dai dresses going to school.

As you pedal along, take a photo at the beautiful paddy field. We’ll also stop at a Khmer temple, cross a small ferry, and have a tea break with Mr. Ginger.

Our special tour is all about taking you to the heart of the Mekong, letting you visit local homes, experience daily life, and learn about the customs and traditions of the people.

After exploring the floating market, follow your guide on a bicycle to meet the ‘snake man.’ He’s a friendly and hospitable character, a typical person from the Mekong Delta. You’ll get to taste some fruits, and snake wine will be served.

He was essential to connecting with local village people, visit remote villages, and explore exotic food. Can't wait for my next adventure
